I looked inside a Memora 2000AD CU today, and thought the busbar shield was missing.

I had the idea that they had a black plastic push-on cover like the 2000 range. But I have been turning it over in my mind and am now not so sure. Do they just have the red plastic cover than pushes onto the busbar? It does not prevent contact with the teeth where they enter the MCBs as effectively as the black shield.

those are from your house! I recognise the TVSS!

so this must be a later revision, with the red shield. I couldn't see any notches for the black one to clip into.

So it's OK with no black shield, then, as long as it has a red one.


p.s. got any spare busbar?
