I'm go to clear a large amount of earth from my garden and I will pile it onto my brickweave drive, I will then have a grab lorry come and take the earth.

I'm very concerned that the drive may get damaged.

Can anyone offer the best advice as to how protect it; maybe a tarp or something better? Also, should I put scaffold boards down do to distribute the weight of the grab lorry wheels?

Any help much appreciated.

Hardboard makes for cheap protection with maybe a sheet of plastic on top although that may hold rainwater.
Boards for the lorry won't hurt either, they may even carry their own.
