prox tags have tobe learned against a user, can be set up by a master user or engineer in setup users
It is better for security to have one tag per user.
so does that other user require a different code?
Yes, 1 user 1 code, 1 tag is recommended.
however you can share a code and duplicate a tag, but if its all separate it makes life easier if something goes wrong, its not as if there aren't plenty of user slots available.

Very true, I guess the wife can still use my code, but have her own for purposes of the prox tag. thank you
