Hi everyone

I’ve recently bought and commissioned a Texecom Premier Ricochet kit with a wireless keypad and saw on another forum that the keypad can be taken out of power saving mode?

Currently to use a prox tag I have to wake the keypad up first which is a little annoying so any help is gratefully received

Thanks in advance

Hold Menu and Tick enter into on board menu then scroll through to power save mode and turn off.

I’m not 100% sure but I don’t think this will cure your prox issue I believe pressing the tick activates the prox reader.

Wireless keypad are asleep until woken up to save batteries.

to energise the prox coil the keypad needs to be awake, so pressing any button wakes up the keypad.

Power saving mode being turned off gives you a little longer to present the prox, but you will still need to wake up the keypad.
