I have a Thermecon boiler and in the 5 years I've lived here, the pump has been replaced 3 times. It has failed again. Any ideas people? Thanks

Prbably you are letting it run out of oil or running it very low too much.
Could be too much water getting through. Oil pumps are delicate and wont
take too much crap

Thanks. Got 3/4 tank of oil and it rarely falls below 1/4 full.
Even the engineer is puzzled. At this rate, it will be cheaper to buy a new boiler.

Are we to assume it is the oil pump and not the heating circulator?
Do you have a filter in the supply?
Does the pump have to lift the oil from the tank or is there a gravity head?
Is it one pipe or two pipe?
