Hi hope you can help, I have a central heating and hot water system (not combi an open system) the boiler is a potterton suprima 80. a pump and diverter valve is located next to the tank in the airing cupboard away from the boiler.

a day ago the pump started running continuosly (has been noisy for a while) but today its still running but we have no hot water either.

Is this a pump problem or something else - help please

Is the boiler firing, do you have central heating from the same boiler, is it working ?

could be pcb or valve, pcb has bad reputation on this boiler so would be my first guess
