Guy next door to me has had a new bathroom fitted, complete with a pumped shower. He has the copper cylinder on the loft floor, header tanks higher etc.
The house has single occupancy.
He reckoned that the installing plumber didn't like taking the shower feed from the usual 22mm outlet at the top of the cylinder and instead he put a 22mm tank fitting about 9" further down through the outside of the cylinder. The thing is, he didn't seem (I'm told) to remove the immersion heater and used some sort of fitting that could penetrate the cylinder simply from the outside...is such a fitting available?
Also, is there a problem with taking the shower feed from the very top of the cylinder, just using a tee?
Whatever, the system works well.
Once again, I'd be really interested in any comments - a brilliant forum!!
Cheers John
