Hi all
I have a really annoying isolation valve I can’t seem to stop leaking after changing pipework, whether this is due to a knackered olive or myself doing something wrong.
I used the old valve to save cutting the pipe as it’s close to an elbow joint, however I’ve got to the point where I want to install a push fit isolation valve, however I don’t think I have enough pipe to fit into the push fit before it meets the elbow join
Does the push fit isolation valve need to be pushed all of the 3cm on to the pipe for it to work, or would I get away with 1.5cm if this was my limit due to the elbow join?
Many thanks
