I got some overflow pipe and fittings today at Wickes, was surprised to see they are push-fit MUPVC. Not being a plumber I don't often do pipes but I think last time I did overflow it was solvent-weld. Won't push-fit be more liable to come apart? It will be in the loft so not often knocked about.
