pushfit pipe inserts

Hi,

I've got to run some 15 mm hot/cold feeds in a stud before the plasterers come in in preparation for the plumber to fix the wall hung basin.

I'm gonna use plastic pipes, then a 90 degree elbow, some more plastic pipe before attaching to a flexi monbloc hose with a compresison fitting.

I went to the plumers merchants and explained what I wanted to do. amongsdt other things they have given me some plastic pipe inserts. What I want to check is do I only insert these into the pipe where they will be joining onto the flexi hose compression fittings? And not where the plastic pipe will be going into the plastic pushfit elbow?

You must use the inserts with the plastic pipe for any joint, whether push-fit or compression.

good job i asked - i wasn't going to use them in the elbow
