PVA vs PVA - whats the difference?

cheap pva is rubbish and its watered down remember you pay for what you get

That's strange because I have 2 bottles of pva from poundland and a 5 litre bottle of contracters grade pva and the poundland one is definitely thicker, dries quicker and is generally a lot better at doing what its supposed to. The contractors grade is worse than any poundland or school pva glue I've ever used. It was definitely already watered down, was thinner in consistency and kept unsticking and I was only gluing paper to paper! Maybe its the brand I got but the poundland one is miles better than the builders pva.
