Pvc bathroom cladding

Hi just need some help, I'm renovating my bathroom as it needs a new floor but instead of wall tiles I'm using the click together cladding I've renewed all the plasterboard with the green moisture board my question is can I just staple the panels direct to the board or should I have it skimmed first with plaster also there will be a L shaped shower bath do the bath walls have to be tanked?
