PVC cleaners.

Need to tidy pvc window frames on house I am renovating, would you recommend the cream cleaners or the solvent type?

Both, it depends what you are trying to clean

Probably old paint and other unidentified stains, trial and error I suppose.

I always use solvent, much better than the cream cleaners i have found. Some may claim it takes the sheen off the white surface, but i've never found any problem with it.

The cream cleaners are good for light scratches, and polishing, the solvent should get rid of stubborn marks, i would use both in most cases

I am looking for cream and solvent cleaners: are there any brands better than others?

i would say homeline (gap) is better than bond it solvent cleaner, out of the two i have used
