Hi everyone, I just moved into a new house and noticed drafts coming from the PVC door. The agency has tried fixing it a couple of times, and this is the latest result. The repair guy now says he’ll glue it and add silicone. Should I accept this fix, or ask for a new door?

Its just an end cap, super glued on usually but yours maybe loose I don't know? Open the door and see if it'll slide up, clearly the agency doesn't use any maintenance guys with an ounce of double glazing experience who could have had this fixed in 30 secs on the first visit

This item is loose. They’ve tried fixing it a couple of times, but it still doesn’t click in properly when I try to attach it. It’s a new house. Also, the repair guy told me the holes are too big.

Ok the cap wants supergluing back on thats not a problem, easy. But now you've mentioned another problem, its ok drilling holes in the threshold but you very rarely get them in the right place first time which is why manufacturers fit these adjustable shootbolt keeps which can be adjusted to stop the doors rattling, like you have at the top.....
