Hello group, I'm just after a bit of advice on my pyronix 46 alarm. In short there has been messages saying my battery is critically low on my keypad. The keypad itself has a single screw underneath so entry looks simple and it appears purchasing a battery is easy and much cheaper to go through the alarm company I used to fit it about 4 years ago. They have called me saying it needs replacing soon too. Question, is this something I can do myself? The battery looks like you just plug in, but what will happen if I do this? will I set the alarm off? do I require an engineer out just to replace the battery? is it easy to reset if I do this myself?
