My Pyronix Enforcer panel a few days ago started to make an alert sound whenever I try to set the alarm using the key fobs; the key fob flashes amber, the normal 30 secs alarm arming beep sequence gets interrupted just after a few seconds and the alarm doesn't set.
I checked the alert in the panel log and it says: 'Wireles Low Batt' - I then pressed A and it says: 'User 5'
Can this indicate a flat battery in the key fob?
While all the batteries (sensors, siren, etc) have been changed regularly until one year ago, the key fobs batteries have never been replaced since 2015, so I'm guessing the first thing to try should be to replace them.
Can I simply open the fobs and replace the batteries or is there any settings/pairing sequence I should enter into the keypad before/after the battery replacement?
