Hi Everyone,

Looking for a pro alarm install with self monitoring and optional annual maintenance contract to replace an existing alarm. But the choice is not easy. Quotes provided offer three options:

1. Pyronix Enforcer
2. Pyronix Euro46
3. HKC 10270

My requirement:
Wireless:
- 2 Door Contacts
- 3 PIRs
- 2 Shock sensors
- internal sounder

Wired:
- use existing wiring and connect a new external sounder
- connect to an existing door contact

Comms:
- comms module for monitoring

I need to the ability to:
- remote monitor using app
- add 2 cctv cameras as a second phase and ideally view them in the same app

Doing some research it seems the EURO 46 is the better option from Pyronix, however the HKC seems to have the stronger [more reliable] wireless option. But Pyronix look to have better cctv integration (with HIKvision cameras).

I'm leaning toward HKC as it seems to get stronger reviews for reliability.

Questions i need help with please :

1. is the EURO 46 a better option than Enforcer and has anyone had issues integrating it with cctv ?

2. Is HKC better for wireless [more reliable] and can it be integrated with cctv ?

Any pointers to help me make a good decision would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

The quotes I have are from pro Installers; I just want to make sure I invest in the correct product.

Out of the 3 options - which one would you install for my requirement ?

HKC supply to trade only. You will need an installer who installs their product. This will limit your options if you have issues with ability to obtain that product from that installer.
Pyronix products came obtained from various installers and wholesalers.
My option would be Pyronix.

Enforcer, wireless capabilities out of the box and 2 wired zones onboard with the wired bell outputs. Comes with Wi-fi card for communication purposes.
