Is there a documented list of steps that is usually performed as part of a yearly service?

I’ve got full control of my system, including the engineer code, and it has been a fun learning experience. Now I’d like to make sure I’m performing the necessary maintenance.

Have already performed a walk test and siren test, and was going to look into replacing the batteries for all the wireless PIRs as I didn’t see a way of checking the battery percentage so assume it’s recommended to just change them every year.

Is there anything else I should do? Does the siren also need the batteries changed? I’m actually not sure if it’s battery or wired.

Thanks in advance!

You can run battery tests within the engineering menu. I wouldn’t be replacing batteries internal or external each year - that’s just a waste.

I’ll look into the battery tests, thank you. Would that report if they are almost depleted?

I just looked into the battery tests, and that seems to be related to the backup battery in the control panel not the battery of the connected devices?

Within the diagnostics menu, you can check all wireless devices including learned inputs and the bell boxes

It's a shame the software isn't available to DIYers. It would make maintenance, backup and configuration easier than having to do everything at the panel.

No worries. If you find a source (even paid), I'm keen to know more :)
