During entry time if another input is triggered the panel doesn't go into alarm makes a different tone but still counts down. Any clues?

ok so what should this be set to if i want it to go into alarm if another input is triggered during entry time?

Spoke to Pyronix this morning its not possible to change. Alarm won't trigger until after timer has counted down. Not great that it can't be over ridden.

The settings are taking into account the professional way of installing alarm systems, to stop what is known as a false alarm caused by the wrong entry made by the operator and the people who follow them in and walk all over the place before the alarm is isolated

ie Wrong entry made by the operator, letting others enter before the alarm is switched off and the operation of a signaling device by people going walk about creating the activation with the consequence of the police or other security being called unnecessarily

The above scenario is just an example that pro. alarms have to be installed to, and control panels manufactured.

Ok, so you are DiY, same programming to stop a false activation

Not sure an entry timer of 1 second is feasible.

Completely understand in a commercial office but in a bungalow for arguments sake a 30 second timer, not out the ordinary for partially sited. Would give an intruder enough time to get round every room. Just think the option should be there to change it.

30 seconds for the entry timer. Trigger a detector off the entry route and this triggers the pre-Alarm timer. Set this as 01 seconds
