Hi there

I am about to order a pallet of quarry stones from my local quarry, they are quite nice (grey/black) color, he's slicing them for me to 5-6mm.

Anyways, is there anything I can paint on them to make them shiny?

Thought about epoxy or polyurethane (like they use for concrete floorings)... is this what the pros use on stone tiles?

Or would they rub something in like beeswax then buff the stones?

Thanks for any help

they will want treated with some kind of impregnator first to protect them,(staining etc) then when down you can use a colour enhancer the more coats you apply the deeper colour it will give them. if you want them polished then that is a different ball game, maybe contact the local monumental mason as they use about 7 different polishing pads to bufty things like these up.
