Would love to put quarry tiles on the floor of my new porch, shouldn't be too difficult, cement base and plenty of room. However, when it reaches the house, it meets edge of lino tiling which is much lower. Any ideas on how to bridge the gap between quarry tiles of, say, 12.5mm thickness to lino tiles incl underlay of, say, 5mm?

A threshold plate or bar is the normal method; there are many types to cover different thicknesses; I assume you still have the external door fitted between the porch & hallway?

Ah right thanks. There is a threshhold plate, I imagine the best thing would be to take this up and put in one designed for the difference in height. Yes, the door is there.
