Hi everyone

We're in the midst of an extension / kitchen remodel and need to make a decision on worktop.

We're having a 3500 run of cupboards and a 2400x1200 island. Just two cutouts for sink (inset so no drainage grooves or anything like that) and hob.

We've chosen the quartz we want (Silkstone White Shimmer 30mm) and have prices from our local specialist (£3,100), Rogerstone (West Mids) (£2,400) and Grosvenor Granite (Wirral) (£1,800). Exactly the same quartz. All templated, supplied and fitted to me here in Gloucestershire.

Obviously I'd ideally like to keep it local but £1,300 is a tough pill to swallow.

So - has anyone on here used Grosvenor (or Rogerstone for that matter) and can reassure me that the price isn't too good to be true?

Anyone? We're getting to decision time now and it'd be really good to hear some feedback on either of these. Thanks

How did it got @pledmonds ?
Hi Curium, good nudge, thanks

We went with Rogerstone in the end. The quote from Grosvenor was just too suspiciously cheap (and they didn't respond to one of my emails and never followed up).

Worktops were fitted a couple of weeks ago and I think they did a good job of it, we're happy with it anyway. Came when they said they would, charged what they said they would, fitted as they said they would. They even managed to rustle up the worktop we wanted when the other suppliers couldn't find any stock. Happy customer.
