Hi folks, new to the forum as Im a little stuck for an answer to my problem.
I have used the search fucntion but as yet I haven't been able to find any more information.
I am in the middle of revamping our house and would like the wood work in our back bedroom to be stained rather than painted with gloss. I have bought new skirting and door case mouldings and stripped the window sill and window mouldings.
Just as I though they would be the facia panels are made from hardboard. And because I want to stain the wood work in that room I have removed them.
The reveal and fixings are in good solid order but I am a little confused at to what timber to replace the facia panels with.
Should I use a flexible ply maybe 3-5mm or possibly source a sheet of thin timber?
Your suggestions are much appreciated.
Gav
