Question before laying my floor

I will shortly be laying our wood floor thru the two rooms in the photo...

... should I incorporate a threshold or cork-filled expansion gap in the arch way?

There is no door between the two rooms and the distance would be about 8 meters, the planks are to be laid vertically with respect to the photo.

We are using a 15mm Kahrs engineered floor.

Filling your expansion gap with cork will leave you without an expansion gap! Never, ever use cork strips with floorboards!

As for the need of a threshold in the archway - the opening seems more than 3/5 of the whole width, so no real need for threshold.
