Evening all,

Just a quick question, when using those metal wall starters that you bolt to a wall, the starter is about 1cm thick, do you butt your bricks right up to the metal so the joint around it is 1cm thick?

Or do you leave a bit of a joint between the metal and the brick you are laying? So the joint around the wall starter between the wall you are coming off and the brick is 2cm thick?

Or doesnt it matter?

Thanks

As long as the starter is flat and even against the wall, you can butt up to it.
