Quick Dimmer Question

Im swapping a switch tomoz to a dimmer, just a quick one, he has no instructions and no box for the dimmer, has anyone noticed recently if any of the guidelines IE load capacity, etc; are marked on switch in any capacity??

some are, some are not.

i would be curious as to the origin of the dimmer if it has no box, instructions. it may even be a duff one?

Thanks breezer, it did come in a box from new, but after talking to him he reckons he through them away.

That does not sound a very clever thing to do. The manufacturers put them in for a good reason.
