quick fencing question

Hi, Im due to replace a 50 ft stretch of board fencing at the weekend.
The original one has seen better days
The question i ask is once the old post is removed is it wise to re-use the hole for the new posts or to dig a new spot a few feet down ??

Personal preference,but would go for new holes - although you may need to check spacing of boards (e.g. half-board at one/both ends to stagger the posts )
