Quick fix for men's trouser zip repair

Hi Folks

I hope you're all well. While at work at the officer yesterday, my trouser zip broke and I had to pull down my jumper in order to hide it. Luckily, there weren't many people in the office.

Can anyone kindly advice of a quick fix or repair if this happens in future?

As they aren't often viably repairable nowadays. Safetypin till lunchtime, then go and buy a new pair at Primark.

Squeeze the zipper from inside/outside with some pliers.

For a more permanent fix, lose some weight
