Had to remove the downstairs ceiling fan/light fitting due to it shorting out and rusting from the leak in the shower above - but that's a horror story for another forum !
I have never fitted one and was a bit surprised to see it wired from the lighting circuit alone - I thought the motor might need the power circuit - is that normal and ok?
And thus are all "standard" fan/light combo's from B&Q similarly wired from the lighting circuit. If not what should I look for.
(Single wall switch control of the light & a pull chain for fan)
