About to tile the walls of my bathroom from floor to 1/2 way up wall.

1] skirting is currently off, do I refit and then tile or tile and fit skirting over the top, (I do want to keep the skirting board look))??

2] what adhesive to use on new plaster to bond standard b+q type tiles 200mm x 300mm??

3] What colour grout works best with a magnolia coloured marble look tile??

4] Am I best to hire a tile cutter or can I get away with my trusty 4 and 1/2 inch grinder with a diamond blade?? got approx 5 square metres in total to do??

Cheers for your responses

Whatever you want to do. If you fit the skirting on top of the tiles, you'll need to stick it on with grab adhesive.

Bal blue star or white star are very good - but any half decent adhesive will do.

If you can stand grey grout on your walls, it'll save you a lot of annoyance in cleaning.

That'll do nicely. Have you got a regular score and snap type of cutter too? That'd save time.
