Is it a common rail diesel injection? If do, you shouldn’t drive it but drain it. Although I did put a quids worth in my Evoque and then brimmed it.

Yeah, it will act as a lubricant. The reason you’re not supposed to put petrol in is that diesel lubricates the high pressure fuel pump and injectors. Petrol dilutes it.

I’ve got to be careful about doing that now as we have one diesel car and one petrol.
