he says he will supply the blocks and build the walls for £750 cash in hand

does this sound ok as it sounds very cheap ?


also how thick a base do i need to build and whats the rough price of a cubic meter of concret

I assume you will be building the garage off trench foundations?

Blocks alone are going to be between £400 and £500, so he must be nicking them from site to do it for that price.

And it may depend on whether you want the walls built plumb or not, if he is buying the blocks and working for £250
