Guys,

What do you all use for producing Quotes, Estimates, Chasing letters, Invoices etc..

Do you have specialist software? If so is there any products you can recommend?

...or does everyone just use Word and Excel to bash this stuff out.

Cheers

Yes just make your templates in MS Word or whatever you use.

Mine are saved as protected 'forms' so that there are just the areas to fill in and nothing else can be changed.

For other documents that require a bit more control over setting out, I use MS Publisher

I use Easy Price Pro for preparing quotes/estimates

no names, no what ever.

quote via email from a template.

trouble was "page 2" had another quote to some one else.

templates are a good idea, but do be careful.

We use a CRM program (Customer Relation management) for all of this - and more: follow-up letters re incentives, marketing projects etc.

I can strongly recommend Mamut CRM & Sales. The Standard version is only £ 79.00, support service is excellent and it's very easy to upgrade to a higher version or ad other sections (like accounting, purchase and even a webshop) of Mamut to it.

Quote = Fag packet (rear of)

Estimate = Ditto

Chasing Letter = Usually send wife round after her all-in wrestling class

:lol:
