Rabbit problem

I hope you can help me find a way out of my current dilemma. We are loving the frequent visits by a Rabbit Family and in fact, encouraging it by placing carrots on the lawn. They are a joy to watch.

However, I was devastated to see that they chewed an entire plant yesterday

How can I not discourage the rabbits but protect my plants please?

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

I think you have to accept that they will eat your plants or the bark from some trees as the price you pay for being lucky enough to have the visit. I often look out at them on our lawn while sitting at the computer and watch them eat anything from apple tree bark to cytisus and everything in between.

Rabbits dig down and go under fencing and netting.
