I have a couple of radiators that are fairly hot at the top but are warm/cold in the middle and bottom. Please could someone advise on what the problem could be and how it can be resolved.

I have tried shutting off the rad , bleeding it and then opening it but water comes out and does not seem to make much of a difference unless i have to do it a few times i dont know. There is no air trapped in the rad as water comes out everytime i bleed them.
Any suggestions??

Is the return pipe hot? If so the problem will be sludge blocking bottom channel of rad. If not, it's just poor circulation which can have various causes (do a search). Check circulation by turning off other rads that are working - this should improve flow through rads in question.

if rads are hot at top but cold at bottom turn locksheild valves completely off and turn back on half a turn turn. what is happening is water is going in and straight out again without heating all rad up so closing return down restricts it going out and balances rad :D
