Feel at the base of the radiator when you first put it on, whichever corner gets warm first is the inlet.
Yes, use two lockshield valves.
Traditionally water exits the radiator through the lockshield valve but unless you have mono-directional trv's fitted it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever.
