The radiator in our kitchen is a little temperamental at the moment. Most of the time it is cold, but when I turn all other rads down, and turn the central heating up, it will start working again. I have also gently tapped the radiator near to where the incoming valve is with a hammer - this seems to have worked as well.
Any ideas why it is only working some of the time? I am wondering if there is a blockage near the valve? I have bled the radiator and it seemed fine - no air came out.
