Radiator valves

Hi,

Some of my radiatiors dont seem to have a lock valve to close
one side has a rounded point that can be pushed in but springs back out
Never seen these how do I close them off

Can you post a pic of the valve? Someone should be able to identify it.

If it is a thermostatic valve (TRV), replacement heads are usually available.

Do you have a normal valve the other end? If so this will be the lockshield valve (assuming the mystery valve is a TRV).
