My boiler is working and have plenty of gas on the meter but one of my radiators is playing up. On the thing to turn it on there is 0 * 1 2 3 4 5, where 0 is off and 5 is on high. Well it works up to number 2 then from there on nothing. I was wondering if it is something really simple and I can sort it or if I need to call some one out? Thank you.

You are talking about a thermostatic radiator valve or TRV here.....if you don't think the rad is coming fully on, remove the valve body and you'll see a small pin in the centre. Maybe thats stuck down a bit, so tap the valve gently on the side to see if the pin comes up a little more.
