Hi,

Any ideas?

Balancing?

Sludge?=Flushing? or Power flushing?

Forget about it and have a pint?

I love DIY.

Cheers,

Thanks for reply.

Bummer. Definitely can't be balancing then? Could do that meself.

Any idea what price(ballpark) for powerflushing?

Cheers.

Why not try balancing before doing anything else?. You say you could do that yourself. Pump OK? etc. A powerflush is not always the answer.

Yep, think I'll try balancing first.

What do you mean pump ok?

Ta.

Just take the rad off and flush it out outside with a hose off the mains .

Turn off all rads and test each one on its own. If the whole rad heats up then its not sludged up, just balancing. If all the rads are struggling together, it could be a general flow issue(pump, partial blockage around c,feed etc).

Have had rad off and flushed manually, some black stuff came out didn't seem that much. Still cooler to touch at centre and centre bottom?

I don't have drain off point on my system, so I'll get one fitted, drain, add cleaner drain and refill a few times then add inhibitor.

After that I will balance system.

If that doesn't work, then sod I'll go to boozer.

Cheers.
