
It's where cavity trays are needed but not every house has them.
I'm guessing the above window is leaking water and it's running down cavity

Either no cavity tray, or the frame set to far forward, or both.

It looks like water is coming across from the top of the frame. Which is the frame problem
Alternatively it's coming down the cavity, which is a tray problem.
Well, if that's your opinion, it must be the cavity tray then.The outside of the French Doors as seen in photo look totally sealed up.

Are the French windows new? What was in that hole before?
So you had the same problem with the patio doors? (that reveal getting soaked). Were they set forward in the wall as well? (Windows and doors look much better and keep the rain out far more effectively if set back in the wall)About a year or so so yeah , new. Before were patio doors , i got rid of them because i thought they were causing a leak.
