Hi guys, does anyone know whether British Standards state if there is a min distance a rainwater soakaway has to be from a property and a neighbours boundary. The rainfall intensity area is 0.020 litres per second per square metre. I have had a read on the following link but no solution:

If you have any literature please can you post me the link.

Many thanks for all your help,

5 meters from any building and any boundary. But a) I can't remember where I got the info' from. I'll have to do some digging (no pun intended) and b) the Inspector allowed me to reduce the distance of mine from the boundary to about 2 meters.

This seems to be a reasonably complete document but doesn't mention distance form boundaries.
It's actually a reproduction from the url that you posted. Try looking in paragraph 3.25.a

Why not check with your local Inspector, they're glad to help, in my experience.

Agree with noseall. 5m from a builidng and road. Never come across any restriction on proximity to boundary.
