Hi guys. I have just installed a conservatory in my parents house but when it got to fitting the door frame I discovered that the brickie has put 1 row too many on the dwarf wall. This has left me with a very large step.
I was wanting to bring the floor level up and just wanted to know if any of you guys have any tips/ advice on the best way to go about it as I have never done it before.
I am thinking of putting down batons on to the concrete, then using plywood before tiles/ laminate flooring. Would this be the way to go and if so, what sort of damp proofing etc. is required?
Many thanks in advance.
