I have a floating floor installed in my conservatory (chipboard on top of polysterene) that squeaks and moves like mad ! Am i right in thinking i could remove the polysterene down to concrete base then replace it with wooden batons and screw the chip board back down ? I would also cover the batons in membrane and replace some of the polysterene back in between batons for insulation ? The conservatory is built up high from the garden (5ft) so i'm guessing will have a damp proof layer under the concrete base? First time i have dealt with this so requiring some advice before i tackle it
