Hi, I have an old oil fired Rayburn Regent, when we turned it off in the summer, it had been working the best I remember. As usual, cleaned out the burner thoroughly, replaced wicks, checked levels, but now burning low even on 6.
Took the top of control box off , and this seems to allow a bit more oil into the burner, but when put the top back, burns like its on 2
If I flood the burner it burns well for a while, so am happy no blocks or airlocks
Any suggestions? Should the control box level be altered?
