Re Franke tap cartridge replacement?

Hi guys,bit of advice would be most welcome.
Got a leaking Franke cold tap cartridge and can get part from screwfix £19.19, which is on doorstep, or Tap spares uk,online,£5.75 free delivery.
Big difference,!!
I like screwfix, never dealt with Tap spares.
Has anyone used Tap spares,and are they ok?
Any advice welcome

I've always used Tap Magician but if you found cartridge cheaper online go for it.

CheersWayners, just seems a lot,lot cheaper,always thought, if it’s too good etc,it prob is? Just looked at Tap magician, they are £20+ but they have several to choose from, by number of ,measurements,spines etc.
Franke gave me tap spare part number,sp3561,which tap spares uk, quoted as fit for, screwfix just said 28 spine,correct for Franke,so it’s a choice.?.

Double check sizes as so many. If it fits grab it at a great price

That’s the problem, neither give the sizes,just suitable for xyz, models,Franke ? I can take it back to SF, not online,so have to do some more homework.cheers

There should be a number on cartridge.
You may need to remove cartridge to get the number and if the ceramic is cracked it may fall apart on removal and not go back in.
Get number and order a new one.
If you can't see a number because of corrosion, you need to take measurements and email tap magician or other company along with a couple of photographs and they'll tell you which one fits.
All simple enough.

Also the numbers do change.

30125 and 30126 could be the same cartridge.
One made in 2025 and other in 2026.

So you may need advice with the numbering
