Question about Franke taps

A bit extreme? New tap would be £150, plus cost of a plumber to fit - £200-£250 total?

Replacement parts - free. Spanner + delivery: £12.

Of course, I might still fail to fix it, but certainly too early to just buy a new one!

Failed to remove valve. Probably should've ordered a new tap!

I share your pain. I have a Franke tap and it was a nightmare to change the valves.

One side was okay, but the hot side - the bush came away with it. I did have to use a lot of brute force. Also make sure you turn the wrench in the correct direction.

My problem is almost a year on, it's started leaking again. But now I know the make/model, I plan to get the right parts.
