Re routing waste pipe from bathroom

Hello again,

Time for another question in the redoing the house saga, trying to fix the mess that the eejits before me have left, and more importantly doing it properly.... :rolleyes:

the background:

in the pic below you have the eaves behind the bathroom wall. at the furthest point in the distance you have the waste water outflow from the sink and bath. mid distance you have the previous positions of the waste pipe (now sealed) and no longer in use. And all this plastic feeds into the second pic (metal) outflow in the foreground.

I need safe access into this area to allow for lagging and insulation in future projects and i don't want to dislodge any of the plastic pipes.

The question:

Can i notch the beams ( i somehow think this is a no-no) and drop the pipework into the notches then board over the top to ease access?

If anyone has a better safer alternative i would be more than happy to listen as always.

Chalet Bungalow?.........I`ve got one like that ....bloody nightmare :evil: Someone`s notched already :eek: for 4 inch cast :eek: .......what I did was put batten next to wastepipes and crawlboard on top/over pipes :idea: nowt you can do about that soil.
