You can see the inside of the plastic cover. I wasn’t expecting this. It looks cheap and horrible. I wasn’t sure if it had a rubber seal missing

Mine were done around 5/ 6 years ago, with a similar wood look finish. I have seen no signs of any chips or damage, no botched ends of sills, no poor fit at all, despite having 5/6 years to inspect them carefully. The one problem I noted when they had finished, was there was a couple of mm gap between outer seal and door, with door closed and locked, at the level of the handle, but it was tight up top and bottom. Either the door was bowed in or frame bowed out. I got them back to rectify it.

Looking at your photos, it looks quite an amateur job.

Not the most tidy mitre joints I've seen, they perhaps need a tap with a plastic hammer to level up the 2 surfaces otherwise it needs new beads cutting, thw windows don't look to be cleaned very well either

Shocking, those windows haven't seen any solvent cleaner at all

I once saw a job as bad as this once when a landlord purchased some windows and doors for a rental property of his, he bought online and supply only, you know how tight landlords are, tighter than a camels nose in a sandstorm, only for his arranged fitter to let him down so he contacted the supplying company and asked if they could help, they have no fitters they're supply only but they did, they put a team of 3 yard labourers on it, when I inspected it for an insurer it was obvious to me whoever fitted them had never fitted windows in their lives, the next door neighbour told me they were yard labourers as they were chatting during the install, the landlord wasn't present at that time as well

Was he fitting alone and to a dealine, bar some manufacturing defects the rest look like a rushed fit that'll do attitude
