Hi I have a dilemma regarding a manhole cover on my property. I am laying a patio & want to fit a recessed cover to accept pavers unfortunately it seems an odd size maybe older dimensions.
the clear opening is 58cm x 43cm,. but the actual cover size I have is approx 51cm x 66cm equivalent to (26x20 inches) the standard size recessed cover available is 60cm x 45 cm. is it possible to fit the standard size cover Safely it does not need to hold a car just normal pedestrian garden traffi.
